About the Logbook
Written by Raj Burgul
Tuesday, 04 May 2004
The Computerised Radiology Trainee Logbook is a self-contained software solution for keeping a log of the huge number of procedures and examinations performed by Radiologists in training in the UK. We designed the software while we were trainees in Aberdeen with the help of the other trainees and trainers. The database stores data in an simple and ordered manner allowing easy retrieval of data for RITA assessments etc. As well as a powerful search facility the logbook allows generation of reports for end of block assessments listing out procedures and examinations carried out by a trainee. The Logbook is available in both PC and Macintosh formats and does not require the purchase of any specific software.

Written by Raj Burgul
Wednesday, 12 March 2003

There is also a PDA version of the database written with Handbase. This requires the handbase software to be purchased. Data entered to a PDA can then be exported to the desktop Logbook. The database is compatible with both Palm and Windows CE platforms.

This version is now available in the download area.
